Hello again, and Welcome November!

Well, I am sorry for my absence this past week or two... a LOT has been going on in our family! What was suppose to be a family weekend visit to Georgia, turned into a week + another weekend longer! And the decision to do so was truly a blessing in disguise. Here's the story: Bentley, our dog, got a huge lump on his side that was increasing in size each day. We decided I would stay in Georgia and figure out what to do with our pup, and Tommy would return to NC to go to work... and then would come back to GA the following weekend to pick Bentley and me up. Don't I have the sweetest husband?!? Well, Bentley's results came in, and there were definitely abnormalities in his blood. Sigh. And probably the best help we could get (especially for a reasonable price) was in NC at the NCSU Vet school. That's where we are today, so I will keep you posted on what goes on with him, as we learn more.

Bentley at my in-law's lake house. He LOVES that place!

As you can see, Bentley enjoyed some lake time :) And I enjoyed some time with my in-laws and friends that still live in my college town. It is so nice to catch up and spend quality time with those you love! And THEN! I was able to drive up to my parent's place and spend some WONDERFUL time with both of my parents. I even got to see my sister for a quick second! (haha she is a busy Senior in High School, enough said!). I definitely miss living closer to my family. I really hope the Lord will send us closer to them one day. And when the weekend came again, my husband and I spent some really relaxing time together and with the family. We even slipped in a game of Bridge!

I feel so refreshed with our week/ weekends out of town. It was an amazing time with family and friends! God has definitely blessed our marriage with the support and love of those in our lives!

Now, I must do some catching up, with house work, Bentley, and blogging! Keep reading!
