Our First Supper

Well I kind of cheated on this one, but we will chalk one up for "semi-homemade cooking" and making do with limited supplies! During a Costco shopping spree (yes! we are officially members! I love Costco!), I bought an already marinated Lamb for two! So... Our very first meal in our apartment was the grandest feast of them all!!!
Lamb is Tommy's meal of choice, aka this dinner will be hard to top! At least for a while, till we splurge on another lamb dish. ;)

It was something like this, but it was on sale for less than $20, gotta love sales!
Then I made a salad with lettuce, green and red bell peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
And I also heated up some green beans with garlic on in a pan on the stove. classic!

It was cute! I always envisioned our first meal together in our new place surrounded by boxes and eating on top of a box fresh chinese take-out! haha very movie-esque :) But this blew my movie day dream out of the water! We had tender lamb, fresh veggies, and all our dishes on our coffee table in the living room. Candles were lit too! Very romantic and very delicious!

The Adventure Starts with a Wedding

On May 7th, 2011 in a Beautiful garden in Alpharetta, GA, I married my best friend and greatest love Tommy Lanham! Tommy and I have been dating since September 5th 2008 and have enjoyed every minute together! Life has taken us on many difficult roads, for example, Tommy moved to Raleigh, NC for a job while we were engaged. It was hard being so far away from each other, especially during planning for our wedding! Fortunately, we had phones and skype and we both made as many trips to see each other as possible. The distance was hard, but well worth it in the end! Today, we are living in Raleigh, NC and are slowly making it our home and filling our days with adventure and love ♥

The wedding was magical and could only be described as Perfect! I may be biased, but really, there is not a thing I would change about the whole thing! Everything worked out beautifully! And we seriously couldn't have done it with out the wonderful help of our friends and family! Friends and family from every where helped us make our wedding day dreams come true!
